UPDATE: 8-7-2009
The product has 100+ miles on them and a few races and I could not be happier. The quality is second to none and the durability is unreal. I would really like to do a test against the MotorSportz.com setup. I think its necessary for the Husky crowd to have a true comparison!!! Give BRP a call and let them know Huskytalk.com sent ya!
In my quest in building a demo bike for the orange cult to ride and see what Husky's are about I decided that most off-road racers are using a steering stabilizer. So I decided we need to add a sweet setup on the demo bike to set it over the top.
Being in the Husky scene for a while I knew that there were a few choices in this matter. My previous life I used a Scott's sub mount setup with great results so that was a choice. Then there was the new kid on the block, The great company MotoSportz.com is making a name in the game with it nice stabilizer setup. So what does a tester do? It's not often a Husky rider has choices in products, I decided that I would test a Scott's setup.
So my quest began. I wanted a nice setup that showed what is available for Husky riders. After doing a little research I found a great resource for my 2007 wr250 and many other Husky's, hello BRP! BRP (Billet Racing Products http://www.brpmoto.com . After a few minutes of browsing the well designed site I was feeling pretty eager to place my order. They had a combo package with the bling and function I wanted!
The ordering process was great, I made the call since I'm a people person and like talking Husky's to strangers. I was connected to a great resource in Eric Miller. Eric hooked me up with the entire package I needed. I ended up with a complete set of triple clamps and a Sub Mount System with a Scott's Stabilizer. Now the fun begins.
